Did I read Pasadena???? I also live in Pasadena, CA! Maybe we could get together after you have changed the diapers, mopped the floor, done the dishes and cleaned the house along with doing all the laundry!!! I work full time and still am expected to do all of the above! And still be able to get in my quilting, dyeing and felting!!! I dont spin but I am starting to purchase raw fleece to work with! I just found out one of my friends is a spinner too!!
Awesome blog, Katie! Looking forward to talking art with you in person 😀
Hi – great blog! We’re launching a workshop series focusing on retro-theme pastimes. We’d looking for some guest teachers who could lead a workshop now and then on niche topics within the fiber world. (would love to find someone who could teach a class on finger knitting..stuffed animals, so on). If you have any thoughts or leads, we’d love to know! There’s a link with more info on our FB page.
Thanks! – Tanit @ The Hobbyist LA
Hi Katie!
I am an editor of AllFreeKnitting and would love to feature your patterns on my site with full credit to you. I know my readers would just love it and in return would generate some nice traffic to your site. If you agree and would like us to feature your project, our readers will simply click the link to your blog to get your full tutorial. It’s really that simple.
I see you have lots of other great patterns on your site as well and I would be interested in featuring even more! If you are interested in featuring more projects like this one with links to your site, I can create a nice bio page for you as well as one of my Featured Knitting Designers. This page will include your bio and links to your site as well as any social media you would like to promote.
My site is part of Prime Publishing and we publish 19 cooking and crafting web sites. We have over 3.5 million active e-mail subscribers and about 10 million page views per week. You can learn more about us at http://www.primecp.com.
Please let me know if you would like to get started. Just a reply to this e-mail is all it takes.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Nicola!
Sorry I haven’t responded sooner — this blog tends to get a little neglected these days.
I’d love to have some of my tutorials or patterns featured on your site. Let me know what the terms are (I always prefer CCC licenses personally). I haven’t written up a lot of these, except for the amigurumi knitting tutorial, but would be happy to.
I check my other email more often — kdatko@hotmail.com
Glad you like my stuff!
Thanks,
Katie
