A beautiful, clear story that illuminates the dynamics and darkness of our current situation.

This is perfect for helping younger students understand the concept of OWS. I plan to share it far and wide. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Together we stand, divided we fail. It’s time to stop being afraid and thinking that you are just one person and what can your voice accomplish. I’ll tell you what your voice can accomplish, together with thousands, no tens or hundreds of thousands, together our voice will raise up and be heard. Those who are in power are only there because we allow them to stay there. Only all of us who want what is ours, nothing more or less, can take back OUR power and make this country the country it has always been meant to be, a country of peace, love, prosperity for everyone, equally. Only we can take back our country, OUR COUNTRY. It’s time we stop fighting everyone else’s battles and start fighting for what’s best for our country and our people. I believe that if we can get over our fear, we can take back our power and take back what is our God given rights, freedom of speech, the right to assemble peacefully, the right to healthcare, a roof over our heads and the ability to feed ourselves and our children and all the homeless and hungry in our country.

I know it’s a huge world and there are lots of people who have the same needs that we in our country do, but there comes a time when the best thing you can do to help others is by showing by example and not continuing to condone their greed, thier selfishness, or their sole concern for no one but themselves.

I believe that if we can take back our power, our freedoms and show our compassion and love for the entire human race, that not only our country but the entire world can have everything they need and as a people, we can live together in love and harmony with all our neighbors.

So stand up people, make your voices heard and together I know we can have the greatest country in the world once again and show the rest of the world that peace is just one voice away.

Donna, Candee, & Dianna. Thanks so much. I hope that this piece is one of the voices that is heard. Please share it and pass it along. I read it to my toddler and while there were things that were a little over her head, she still got that the TOWER PEOPLE were bad. That goes a long way….

Hi, I’ve been away from my own blog for so long, but I was happy to read yours and see this! Will definitely recommend to my friends with children. Speaking of which, your little one has really grown!
